Who we are

OutDrafted is a free FPL Draft analytics tool operated by Philip Omatsone. The site is available at outdrafted.co.uk.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• League data from FPL: When you sync a league, we fetch publicly available data from the official FPL Draft API (standings, picks, transactions, player stats). This data is associated with your league ID, not with you personally.
• Email address (optional): If you choose to save your league, we store your email address via Supabase Auth to link your account to your saved leagues. We do not send marketing emails.
• Local storage: We cache dashboard data in your browser's localStorage to speed up repeat visits. This data never leaves your device.

Cookies and tracking

We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:

• Essential cookies: Supabase authentication session cookies, required for the save-league feature to work.
• Analytics (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics via GTM to understand how people use the site (page views, feature usage). This helps us prioritise improvements. Google may set cookies such as _ga and _gid. You can opt out via the cookie consent banner or by using a browser extension like Google Analytics Opt-out.

If you reject non-essential cookies via our consent banner, Google Analytics will not be loaded.

How we use your data

• To display your FPL Draft league analytics
• To save your league preferences if you create an account
• To understand site usage patterns (via analytics)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• FPL Draft API (draft.premierleague.com) — source of all league data
• Supabase — authentication and account storage
• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — usage analytics
• Render — hosting provider

Data retention

League data is stored in our database for as long as the league is active. If you delete your account, your email and saved league associations are removed. Cached data in localStorage can be cleared by your browser at any time.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics tracking at any time

Children

OutDrafted is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
